Clinical Evaluations for Immigration in New Jersey

I am trained to provide in-depth clinical evaluations to support USCIS applications. A psychological immigration evaluation is an essential step in obtaining legal status in the US, but does not guarantee success. These assessments can help a court determine whether an individual and/or their family can lawfully remain in the U.S.

I offer Immigration Evaluations for the following:

  • U Visa (Victim of a Crime)

  • T Visa (Trafficking Visa)

  • VAWA Petition (Violence Against Women's Act)

  • Extreme Hardship

  • Asylum Case

WHAT TO EXPECT:

When you schedule a psychological immigration evaluation, the goal is to provide a comprehensive assessment to support your case. The evaluation typically involves a thorough interview that explores your background, personal history, and current circumstances related to your immigration status. You can expect to discuss any experiences of trauma, stress, or hardships that are relevant to your case.

The evaluation process is conducted in a supportive, trauma-informed,  non-judgmental environment, and confidentiality is maintained throughout. Depending on your needs, the evaluation may also include psychological assessments to better understand your mental health and any emotional impacts you have experienced. Sessions usually last between 2 to 3 hours and may take place over one or two appointments.

Following the evaluation, a detailed report will be prepared, summarizing the findings and professional recommendations. This report will be tailored to meet the specific requirements of your legal case and will be provided to your attorney to support your immigration application. My goal is to ensure that your story is heard with compassion and that the report accurately reflects your situation.

WHAT IS THE COST?

The cost is $1,000 which includes the evaluation (which can take 2-3 hours), and the written report (usually 10-20 pages in length and can take between 5-10 hours to complete). A $500.00 non-refundable deposit must be made when scheduling the evaluation. Payment plans for the remainder of the amount due are available.
